Exceptional Fish Scale Hooked Rug - New Brunswick. SOLD

This exceptional hooked rug is from an estate north of Fredericton and was hooked circa 1930.  There were several of these rugs that I purchased from this estate and they were carefully stored and never used.  The home housed two generations of rug hookers as I also purchased several 19th century rugs.  This rug is solid and tightly hooked by an expert rug hooker.  The rug has 6 rows of a colourful border to frame the design.  Size:  33" x 5 feet long.   Rugs of this quality, age and condition would be hard to find today.
